ASHTONIA 2018 

Ok there are some projects that you just have to accept because they're just too rare!
I was asked by Coert & Joeri to animate their concept for the Acrobats/ Dancers/ Clowns/ Entertainers the Ashton Brothers' new show, Ashtonia 2018, distributed by RTL.

Coert & Joeri managed to create a whole crazy world which was the only way to describe the creative range of the Ashton Brothers. Look carefully at the beautiful artwork from Coert Buiting, then see what happens in the scenes, then imagine the sort of meetings we had creating this piece!

Or course, the film wouldn't be what it is without the great soundtrack from Geert Van Gaalen at Studio De Keuken. Backed up by the Ashton Brothers' voice performance!

It was a great experience as an animator, working with a strong creative team. This is the reason I like to alternate position on projects, and not stick to one role. You get to work with guys who have a different take on your craft and they add to your skills, no matter how experienced you are.

If you want a crazy film, you need a crazy team.
